 | reply to exeter Called today to follow up as i'm still pinging close to 1000. They suggested the reboot routine etc and created a ticket. I got no new info.
Anyone else still experiencing this? Any insights? This is my 3rd day on fairpoint service and 2 of them it has been unusable. Might be good that I haven't called Comcast to disconnect just yet... |

 | wanted to update my story to be fair... a few days later a tech came out, and replaced the coax in my house. It had been fine with comcast, but after hooking comcast back up it had the same problem. Apparently something in the install caused noise in the line, so replacing the coax fixed it.
I have stuck with fairpoint since, and after being happy for a few weeks upgraded to the 30/15 - no problems at all since. |
