I am trying unsuccessfully to setup a 5505 on my home network.
I put the PK5000 in bridging mode, go through the wizard on the 5505
I launch a browser and I get the
go through that, and I never get any further.

"I put the PK5000 in bridging mode"
I put the PK5000 into bridging mode, and connect the bridge to the 5505
I setup the PPPOE, and PAP authentication, and dyanmic IP
I then immediately get a IP of
which forces my connection to go too (where it wants to try and configure the final steps)

If you are getting that activation page, you are either setting up your 5505 with the firstname.lastname@example.org pppoe username instead of the one specific to your account, or the pk5000 is not in transparent bridging and is still authenticating with that.

I guess i'm not following you.
Do I have two different usernames and passwords?
when I go through the activation screen and it fails, it gives me a manual option and shows me my username and password
If I go back to PPOE mode, and enter the login/pass
I still have to run through the activation screen at least once
I also tried setting up my laptop with a PPPOE connection and I am forced to go through the activation screen, which of course fails.
I don't get how I should be able to use the PK5000 in transparent bridge mode
