A weird problem.

I don't really know how to explain this, but I'll try my best.

Something happened with the assigned Centurylink IPs recently that do a number of strange things. For starters, my state of origin often shows of Kansas. Secondly, I can mysteriously no longer watch some Youtube videos because of the "the uploader has not made this video avaliable in your country" garbage, while local friends on Centurylink and Charter can still watch these videos. Thirdly, I often get kicked from game servers because it thinks I'm connecting from behind a proxy, as it is unable to assign me a country of origin.

What gives?

CL probably obtained a new IP block that was previously held by someone else. Send a message to Joey and see if he can get it forwarded to the right department to work on a resolution. You may just have to wait for the records to get updated that show who owns the IP block and where they are located.
