| CMTS assigning 40mbps down? Noticed I was downloading at 4.7 MB/sec consistently.. which I knew eastlink didn't give much burst rates at all, so I figured something was changed.. so looked at the config params:
I am on the 30mbps plan
Downstream:
SfMaxTrafficRate = 40960000
Upstream is still 2mbps (would not have minded a higher value at all!)
Anyone else getting this as well? It was only recently changed, I think.

| Hmm I'm getting 40 Megabits download as well, same on upload 2mbps.
One has to wonder with Aliant offering 30/30 and 70/30 come sometime in the summer Eastlink is going to have to offer up something better on the upstream not just the downstream. |
