hi,
i don't know much about technical stuff but i was hoping someone could tell me what the report that i posted meant and how to fix it. My problem is that my modem restarts pretty often and it's very annoying. can someone please help?

Sounds like you have intermittent connection or no connection to your modem. Go back to the modem page and under signal take a screen shot of that page and post it here or type out all the fields and values. Also if you have cable tv going, how is the quality of all the channels? any fuzzy or pixelated/freezing channels?

Random reboots with the SB6120 on Cox is a fairly common issue. Especially in the Peoria/Glendale area. CoxAZ pushed a new firmware for the SB6120 recently that should have fixed most of the issues.

You can check your modem firmware here: »192.168.100.1/cmHelp.htm
The new firmware is Firmware Name: SB612X-1.0.5.1-SCM00-NOSH
If you are still running SB612X-1.0.3.1 or older call Cox and ask for the latest FW 1.0.5.1.

You should also post in the Cox Forum where Authorized Cox Techs can assist you further.
