I've had it with these clowns. Over the weekend they implemented a rule which blocks any SMTP server which sends them more than 5 messages in 5 seconds. Their own shared SMTP server is constantly being blacklisted, so we have to use a 3rd party server. Here's what they told me today:

"I am sorry, all that we can do is submit to have it removed, we can not actually force them to remove it. This is a shared IP address so there are a lot of domains that send mail from this same IP address. If you are having issues sending mail with your mail client, you can use the SMTP settings of your ISP to send our mail with.

HOWEVER WHEN WE DO THIS YOU BLOCK OUR ISP'S IP ADDRESS. Email sent to our domain using our SMTP servers at [ip address] and [ip address] is apparently being blocked again -- test emails I have sent myself are not arriving. Please unblock these IPs again.
AND they won't whitelist my 3rd-party SMTP server.
