Another Adobe Flash Player Update (v10.3.181.26)? Yes!

I saw this on two PCs while updating Flash: »get.adobe.com/flashplaye ··· id=BUIGP shows "Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.26 (2.94 MB)".

Still 10.3.181.22/10.3.181.23. The supposed 10.3.181.26 installers are the same hashes as 10.3.181.22/23.

Interesting. Adobe is confusing us. I updated it for kicks, and still show the same build from last week. Bleh!

Hi redxii,

With all due respect: they are not.

Downloaded for IE from:
hxxp://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe

(change hxxp to the obvious one)

On XP home SP3 Dutch, calculated by CryptoSuite:

The file C:\Documents and Settings\...\Mijn documenten\...\Adobe Flash Player\Flash Version 10_3_181_23\install_flash_player_ax.exe has the following Checksum(s)

MD5 - BAF22357689F4AE46CE250ABD3E71AC4

How did you get .26? Others and I couldn't get it. I wonder what is fixed in .26? Is it only for IE and not others?

I couldn't get Jrb2's link to work so used the Flash Player Settings Manager in my Control Panel and did it from there.

Ahh. Now, they are updated. I guess I saw it when they were just posting! Um, does anyone know what's fixed in this .26?

• Release date: June 14, 2011
• Vulnerability identifier: APSB11-18
• CVE number: CVE-2011-2110

Has anyone had success using Divx's HiQ as an alternative? I can't even get it to show up after many attempted fixes.

Is running the flash uninstaller first still advisable? Or is it okay to upgrade over the top?
