Thanks to reps on DSLR and a suggestion to readers

Ive been changed from PO'ed to Happy via two very very knowledgeable tech reps on this board and I would like to Publically thank them (Ill let them ID themselves if they wish). Ive not vented to either one of them nor anyone Ive dealt with on the phone but I certainly did here. Both of them picked up the ball and did some serious help in getting me going. Also I changed sales reps talked to customer support and then billing. Everyone (Save the 1st sales droid) to a tee were knowledgeable and help full. Difference I believe is in my Suggestion.

When dealing with the Techreps/sales people/customer support. Dont talk/call PO'ed. On the phone I was very very kind and patient and let them know to take time and find what you need etc. Guess what, of the 5 or 6 I worked with they Bent over backwards to help me out. Ive gotten circuits set up, modems ordered and dates readjusted by being nice.

Now lets see how it turns out Dec 22nd when my service is due on ..

"being nice" seems to be the key ingredient. Agree thoroughly that you get what you exude in your initial approach to a person on the telephone. Be gracious, and all things are possible.
