Westell 327W and Asus RT-N56U

So recently I decided to get the Asus RT-N56U. However, I forgot that Routers need modems and I don't have one, rather I have the 327W which is a combo of both. I currently have no clue how to make the 327W act as a modem only for my Asus. I have NOT updated my firmware of the 327W since I got it back in like 2005, so whenever I type in the 192.168.1.1 address, it still shows the old blue and white GUI rather than the new red and black Verizon GUI. Is there anything I can do? I'm very confused right now.

Here's what you need to do to the 327
The 327 wifi works in bridge mode you can turn off the wifi
Click the configuration link and then click the vc configuration link
Click the edit button of the enabled vpi/vci
Change the protocol to bridge
Change the mode to bridge
Click the set vc button
