Fort Smith, AR | [360] 120gb hard drive into 360 slim... I just picked up a new 360 slim 4gb with Kinect bundle at Target...found out quickly that 4gb gets eaten up quickly. I had a spare 120 gb 360 drive so I removed it from it's housing and popped it into the expansion slot on the slim....both have SATA ports and it slid right in and showed up in the Memory tab of the console. I'm sure this has been posted before but I thought I'd put it up just in case.  |

kudos:5 | I did a similar install on my 4Gb 360, but I bought an enclosure for the HDD before installing. It was cheap and secures the drive in place. |

Now I just wish I could find a 250gig for my phat 360.  Still kicking myself for the day that I missed that woot sale... all because I had to be stuck at work all day.

Just buy a regular WD Scoripo hard drive and use Hddhackr. I got the 250GB drive for $50, enclosure for $10 or 15, still way cheaper than the $125 for the "official" drive.
