The summer mountain hiking season has started. I for one love hiking 14ers, and it is my goal to do as many as possible (including 13ers). It's still a bit snowy above 12,000ft, but snowshoes are not needed (but the occasional post-holing does happen).
I hiking Mount Sherman (near Fairplay, CO in Park County) last Monday and today I hiked Mount Evans and Spalding (no, I did NOT drive to the top).
Attached are pics from my Mount Sherman hike. The third pic is the condition of the road that I had to drive on to get to the mountain. 15mph was too fast on that road! -- What smells like blue?
