Change numbers

What would be the best way to change the # 7 into a # 8 on a printout from word?

Liquid paper, a pen and a steady hand?
What are you trying to fake?

If you are going to copy, print up an 8, cut it out and tape it over the 7.

If this is for a wrongful act you may want to reconsider. If a person needs to ask total strangers how to commit a wrong act, they are probably going to get caught.

I agree with the copy. If you need the 8 to look legit, print out an 8 and paste it. You can use a scanner and reprint if you want to avoid a copying machine.

Open up the Word document, change the 7 to 8, reprint.

Search and replace (CTRL+H). Would help to know the actual format. For example 7 is different from 77 which is different from 7. If you wanted to change all the # 7 to # 8 and not mess with # 77 you would need to include a trailing space. Find and replace is a very powerful tool and can do great things, both good and bad.

Re: Change numbers

It is not an option to make the change in the Word file and reprint?
