3 Mbps is what I've gotten from Verizon/Frontier for years. The alternative is Suddenlink, which is twice as fast but unreliable. I can download everything I want pretty quickly. I've had the service pegged full-tilt since I got it. This DSL still "feels" like broadband. I don't stream any movies, though.

Do you understand that those 28 million CAN'T even get that speed?
