The problem with rural areas (like where I live) is not getting the towers up and equipped, it's the backhaul. Where does backhaul come from? The Phone Company! If TPC had highspeed backhaul in place, they could offer higher speed DSL. Perhaps not VDSL, but better than the 1.5 we have to make do with.
I'd love to even get LTE with caps, but don't know when we'll see that. |
