How do I tell if it's my modem or my router or...Comcast that is dropping the connection?
I have the SB6120 and went without a hitch for the first 3 months but in the last 3 days I've had no connection twice.
I unplugged the modem and got back online, would this point to the modem?
Is their a way to prevent this or help pinpoint the issue?

plug in the modem directly, and use it. If it works fine, its the router. If its not working, its the modem.

Have you looked at the logs on the 6120? |
