reply to SmokChsr As far as the Atlantic is concerned Arlene is history. Current Sat imagery from floater 1, shows that Arlene was torn apart in the mountains. It appears that a good chunk of the convection was able to split off and get into the Pacific (18N 105W). That may develop into something in the pacific.
Some of the energy did break off to the right and is drifting North. Perhaps it will bring some moisture North into Texas.
