| changing motorola surfboard sbg6580 password I logged in with the default username and password. I am trying to change my username and password, but whenever I click to apply these new settings, the screen shows up with an error report that says there was a password confirmation error. I have tried many many times with different passwords, and I am still getting the same error report. Any suggestions? |

| I think the fields are messed up. Try entering the information in correct sequence like
username: admin
old password: motorola
new password:
reenter new password:
I think that is how I ended up getting it to work. You will notice that the old password is already in that second field so just enter new password in the bottom two fields. |
