Looking at the specs for the cisco and sammy stb's this feature is available but Brighthouse for some reason chooses to disable it. This is actually a pretty nifty idea but I'm not sure how it would be implemented. It isn't all that difficult but what we're talking about here is essentially another self contained internet connection with its own bandwidth, IP address etc. The question then is okay so this is done...what speed will it be rated at? Will it be a standalone product or an addon to existing internet service and most important what will be charged for the ability to do this? -- "I cant give you a surefire formula for success, but I can give you a formula for failure: try to please everybody all the time." ~ Herbert Bayard Swope |
