Hattiesburg, MS Upstream Channel Bonding - Hattiesburg, MS |
I have 2 internet connections, my Arris Telephony modem shows upstream channel bonding. However my other connection running a DOCSIS 3.0 UBEE-DDM3513 does not sync 2 channels, only one. -- Bill - Hattiesburg, MS - »www.billhamel.net |

Re: Evidence of Upstream Channel Bonding - Post Here said by andyross:said by aerobee :Hudson, WI -- 3 x 64QAM Channels? Maybe they have found your upstream is clean enough to allow 64QAM on the lowest frequency. There was a previous post from Tobin in Hillsborough/San Mateo, CA that showed three 64QAM channels plus a 16QAM one: »Hillsborough/San Mateo, CA
Squeezing 4 QAM carriers into the upstream is a big challenge, see: »4 Upstream Channels |

Re: Evidence of Upstream Channel Bonding - Post Here I had many channels before, but now a single downstream and upstream channel in Houston, TX (Cypress area, which is NW Houston if that matters)
Any reason this would have gone to a single channel? Speeds are still the same as they were before though... |

Pleasanton, CA Pleasanton CA finally got 3 upstreams. The internet went down like 50 times when they were doing it.
ofc the signals are balls, especially compared to Merced where I have had 3 upstreams for over a year now.

I am going to miss my xtreme 105. I am leaving the modem here, I am going back to my parents house for winter break. |

Re: Berkeley, CA The 16QAM does a T4 TimeOut on reboots.
The three 64QAM channels seem to be staying around.
My IP address has changed after being the same for years.
The new firmware was pushed to me a few weeks ago.
Firmware Name: SB_KOMODO-1.0.6.8-SCM01-NOSH Boot Version: PSPU-Boot(25CLK) 1.0.12.18m3
Service has always been rock solid. The channel bonding is useful as UC Berkeley students flood the area when classes start.
Comcast is looking for more capacity from the existing system? Building anything physically new in Berkeley is a swim in QUICKSAND.

 | reply to Berkeley CA Impressive, four upstream channels listed . Does the 16 QAM one stay there and show successful after a reboot? -- KI6RIT |

SB6140 is showing Three 64QAM upstream and One 16QAM upstream that is on a T4 timeout. Speeds haven't changed.
Is three 64QAM upstream a new thing?
location is Berkeley, CA Motorola SB6140
Mod Note: Ignore my thumbs up/thumbs down. Those were both fumble fingers pushing the wrong buttons trying to approve your post so it would be visible. ~sorto' |

West Palm Beach, FL West Boca was just recently upgraded as well. I noticed after rebooting my modem after I moved it in the room that there was an extra blue LED. |
