Comcast went down for about an hour last night. When it came back up, the upstream light on the modem was blue. We JUST got DOCSIS 3 here a couple months ago, so this is very exciting.

»stage.results.speedtest.comcast.···0042.png

I'm on the fastest speed tier they offer here, which I believe is BLAST! They just started offering it maybe a couple weeks ago. Still no 50mbps or 100mbps in my market, but here's hoping.

Had Comcast install Blast (50/10) service here a couple weeks ago. Shaperprobe verifies throughputs are pretty much spot-on. Here's a screenshot showing 3 bonded upstream, 6 downstream, and some fairly impressive signal levels & SNR. Helps to only be ~1/4 mile from the fiber node even if much of the coax cable plant itself is ~30+ years old. Using Zoom 5341J DOCSIS 3.0 modem purchased @ BestBuy. So far so good, stable and consistent speeds.

Location is Clinton Knolls area (west), Town of Clinton, Hunterdon County, NJ, 08809

Some areas of Houston have had upstream bonding for a while. It looks like some of the outlying areas of Houston are finally getting it as well.

You may have 2 channels due to poor signals. The limit for 3-channel is 51dB for 64QAM (presumably ATDMA on your post). 2-channel is 54dB, and your ATDMA channel is close to that. 16QAM (TDMA?) allows 1dB higher (52/55).

That had happened to me. I was at those exact same upstream power levels and couldn't get more than two. Made some changes that lowered the power output and the third channel is there now consistently.

West Boca was just recently upgraded as well. I noticed after rebooting my modem after I moved it in the room that there was an extra blue LED.

SB6140 is showing Three 64QAM upstream and One 16QAM upstream that is on a T4 timeout. Speeds haven't changed.

Is three 64QAM upstream a new thing?

Impressive, four upstream channels listed . Does the 16 QAM one stay there and show successful after a reboot?

The 16QAM does a T4 TimeOut on reboots.

The three 64QAM channels seem to be staying around.

My IP address has changed after being the same for years.

The new firmware was pushed to me a few weeks ago.

Firmware Name: SB_KOMODO-1.0.6.8-SCM01-NOSH
Boot Version: PSPU-Boot(25CLK) 1.0.12.18m3

Service has always been rock solid. The channel bonding is useful as UC Berkeley students flood the area when classes start.

Comcast is looking for more capacity from the existing system? Building anything physically new in Berkeley is a swim in QUICKSAND.

Pleasanton CA finally got 3 upstreams.
The internet went down like 50 times when they were doing it.

ofc the signals are balls, especially compared to Merced where I have had 3 upstreams for over a year now.

I am going to miss my xtreme 105. I am leaving the modem here, I am going back to my parents house for winter break.
