Orange, CT | email story Last year I cancelled ATT DSL and switched to OOL cable modem. I was able to keep old email address (snet.net) indefinitely. So far, so good.
Now I suddenly can't log in to my ATT account because I get a violation of terms of service notice and my account is therefore terminated. This was clearly a mistake. I did nothing to deserve it.
The problem is that the email address is considered to be a "free email" account by ATT and Yahoo so there is no support other than web page FAQ's that do not help this situation.
I'm at a total loss to fix this. No one at ATT will talk/chat because it is a "free email account".
Fortunately, I have already switched most of my important contacts to another address. This could be disastrous.
I post this both as an appeal for help and a warning to others. |
