Holy crap!
These guys are having the same conversation about the problem they were having four years ago! It's like they are just now discovering the problem and assigning a committee to study it. Same room, same suits, same talk.
"Teams to examine the issues and develop strategies" What??? "The beginning of a conversation with the private sector" ARRRGH!
As Yogi put it so well, "This is like déjà vu all over again"! |

Unless you have the facilities to design and build motherboards, optical drives, etc., the parts that you will be using to build your own PC will all have come from overseas. |

Re: China shipping rigged computers to steal American secretsThis country is so deeply engrossed with China (in manufacturing since stockholders in this country just care about their pocket books) and the US loans to China that by the end of the Decade China will own USA if the don't already. Anybody that can do anything about it cares to see through all that. Wake up! |

Personally, I look forward to serving our new Chinese Overlords. Perhaps we will find clarity as we stare into the inscrutable gaze of our new masters. Besides, what could possibly be more exciting than becoming part of the mysteries of the Orient?
(...just kidding of course...) |

When will we finally start outsourcing not only production (facilities, design, know-how, etc), but CEO's (who did it) themselves? |

Starting with the WH and Congress -- both parties. |
