 | Westell 7500 network page problem My Westell 7500 keeps having this weird glitch where the router page keeps saying that my PC's wired connection is offline even though it's not.
The ''my network'' page fluctuates between saying it's connected to saying that it's offline. Anyone else experience this problem? Is there anyway to fix it? |

| If it is otherwise working, and merely giving bad information, then I wouldn't worry about that.
I seem to recall the same thing when I was using a 327w. It showed some of my computers as offline, even though I was using them online. It didn't cause any problems. -- AT&T Uverse; Zyxel NBG334W router (behind the 2wire gateway); openSuSE 11.4; firefox 4.0 |

 | Okay. Quick question, is there anything I have to uninstall if I change modems?
I'm thinking about ditching Centurylink and switching to cable. |

| If you installed software for the modem, then I guess you should uninstall that.
I always setup modems and routers from their web interface, and I try to avoid installing any software that comes with the modem or router.
ISPs sometimes make that hard. I remember that I was once forced to install some software by my ISP. So I installed that only on an older computer that I was about to junk anyway. It was crapware, as I had expected. -- AT&T Uverse; Zyxel NBG334W router (behind the 2wire gateway); openSuSE 11.4; firefox 5.0 |

 | The modem came with a set up disc but I don't think it installed anything.
I didn't see an uninstall function or anything like that. |
