Please solve the mystery for me regarding DSLReports tools:
I have just set wireless connection to Motorola Gateway cable modem (connects to Comcast, 12Mbps account) and decided to check Wireless speed (connectivity says "Excellent"):
a) 2wire.com says 7.5 Mbps
b) speedtest.net - close (little higher) numbers
c) but dslreports.com/speedtest?flash=1 - whatever server I choose there - shows me VERY different number -
around 1000Kbs that is 1 Mbps! So other sites give 7-8 times higher speed.
I did (a), (b) and (c) several times - same result (tried different servers in (c)).
So who tells the truth? I hope not DSLReports as then I need to face BIG problem with my wireless connection.
