Not that it makes it any better, but do you think he considers U verse not a "DSL" technology? It's kind of weird to hear the head of a company put down a product that I used of his recently for years, and was pretty happy with -plain old adsl. Granted, the future may not be bright, but many still find it useful. Not exactly very complementary to many of your customers (or just rubbing it in for those who dislike it and don't have a choice).
