"ERROR: ISP is required"

Can someone explain what the above error means and what I have to do to remove it?

The error message is: "ERROR: ISP is required"
and it appears in a red font just above the graph on the Speed Test page and to the left of the "Get Data" button.

I know what name is usually in the box - totbb - but when I see the error, the name is not present.

Thanks for any help.

2 days later and not one reply from anyone at dslreports? Surely someone must know.

Above is an example of the message.

I believe it's an indication that there's no ISP identified in the packet sent to DSLReports. That's probably because your ISP screwed up. (You're using TOT, no doubt.) The ISP's name should appear in the white box to the right of "ISP" in your screen shot. I've seen situations where 3BB lines were identified as TT&T, long after TT&T gave up the ghost.

Perhaps someone here can give a better explanation.

Thanks Woody! I'll talk to you later about this.

I hope someone at DSLreports can give some info, too.
