I know, right? If you look at the shakemaps, the mountains are a purple color. Fremont is untouched per the map (verified from a buddy working there, who didn't feel a thing) |

This one felt weird, just one big jolt and then nothing. I was in the city (financial district) at the time. When I first looked at the USGS site it said 4.2 but it has been downgraded to 3.9 after review.
