 | Qwest/Centurylink merger technical question I have been hearing that Qwest is becoming CenturyLink. What I am wondering is when they are done with the change-over, will the IP hostnames change? Right now they are still [XXXX.qwest.net]. Will this become something else, like XXXX.centurylink.net?
When is this going to be done anyway? |

 | I am using my line to host an HTTP server, and I need to know what to expect and watch for. |

But my 'pacbell.net' host name did not change after SBC bought The Pacific Telesis Group, nor did it change after SBC bought AT&T and rebranded.
My youngest sister's email is still in the 'embarqmail.com' domain, even after the CenturyLink buyout. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
