and that is why the local gov'ts should NOT be doing support. And as far as rock solid- I can give you plenty of areas where T and Comcast have GREAT services. Just because your new network is FTTH doesn't mean it will NOT go down. There will be a day it happens. And just wait. The reviews will be come flying in.
when one goes bankrupt the local tax payers bail them out. that's the only difference besides; Grandparents have to pay for service regardless if they have service or not.
