Well, not prorating the ETF is not an AT&T practice, either. Every contract I've had with them includes a prorated ETF. I took them up on it once because of a device I was deeply dissatisfied with. They made a deal with me for 6 months to pay $10 for a blank line, to pay $60 and fulfill the contract, rather than pay over $170 for the remainder of the ETF(originally $350 at start of contract). For customer service and holding up their end of contracts, AT&T has done fine by me.

There are zealots for every OS, like every religion. They do not represent the majority of users for either.
