Static Routing in smc

Hi
Can anyone help me?
I have a SMC7904WBRB2 Part number 752.9223 EU.
3pcs with fixed ip 192.168.1.*** connect to him. DHCP is on for wireless. Router IP 192.168.1.1 with internet.
I want to connect another router (DHCP off) with IP 10.202.106.254 to SMC ( because it's the only way to connect 10.1.1.160 - special aplicattion)
I added this last address to the hosts.
What kind of cable must i use? Cross-over?
I tried introduce the route: 10.1.1.160 /255.0.0.0 to static route in smc but i got the message that they are incorrect.
If i connect directly the new router to a pc and setup a fixed ip like 10.202.106.100/255.0.0.0 i can access what i want.
How can i setup Static routing in SMC?
Any help???
THXS in Advance
