[Free] Third beta version of Spybot-Search & Destroy 2.0 release

The third beta release of Spybot-S&D 2.0 is now ready! After one more month of public beta testing many of the bugs that were reported have been fixed. We have also included your suggestions into this release.

Thanks for the update!
I'll have to read up on this. It looks like a complete overhaul from 1.6.2. I have to wonder if this product would work well with all of it's functions enabled by default. My concern would be with the anti virus module being enabled? Is it an anti virus file monitor? Or just something that scans for viruses from within the application? Sort of like going online for an anti virus house call scan. I've read a few conflicting reports in the forums about what this really is. The question I'm wondering is... Most users would already have anti virus software present and running resident. It's easy enough to disable in Spybot, but I wonder if it's designed to run alongside other products? Like I said... I need to go research up in their forums as I think Spybot has implemented technology here that is somewhat passive and respects your current anti virus solution. I may be wrong though.

Try it since it's a beta. Do it in a test PC or virtual machine (VM).
