I have a westell 7500 modem. Im trying to figure out how to remove the moderate or strict NAT settings. Ive looked through fairpoints settings but whenever I use xbox live or call of duty it states it as being strict or moderate.
First question is why, what is it you are trying to do.
I assume you are connecting some sort of gaming device, if you want to user more then a single device you cannot turn NAT off. What you can do is figure out which Ports the device needs and set up the router to do port forwarding to the device. That lets the device act as a server behind a NAT router.
