Overnights are very slow here. Paying to use 6mb down and only getting 150k at best ? Daytime is a bit better. Running a Westell modem and have tried everything to speed it up? A Att tech told me of the record that they are slowing down Dsl service to get users to convert to Uverse. Att is greedy to say the least !
I am 75ft from the main dsl box for the whole area. Should be smoking speed ?
I'm always dubious, but 150k instead of 6mb indicates a major problem. Even IF what the AT&T tech told you were true, there has to be a problem in your DSL link somewhere. I would call AT&T and request a truck roll ASAP. -- GDATL - Atlanta GA
