Saw you're post in the SAS forums too. I'm still sitting at .1116. I did ENABLE automatic program updates in SAS settings as it is not enabled by default when I first installed v5 a week or so ago. No updates. It was a clean install as no version of SAS has even been installed on this machine before. For now, I'll wait for it to be distributed to the auto update server. In time perhaps I'll jump on the bandwagon for SAS bleeding edge updates. |

Wait, I got .1116 update through its internal updater last Friday. I am not seeing .1118 update with it? |

Either way .1118 appears to be on the SAS download page anyways. They just have not referenced this update in the change logs as of yet. Internal update does not find it. I am going to wait for the internal update mechanism to find it. |

» forums.superantispyware. ··· p__23095 says tomorrow will have the in-product update. A reboot isn't required for .1116 update from last Friday. |

Not for me on my updated, 64-bit W7 HP machine with v.1116. You mean a reboot was required? I even read in the forums that an update from .1116 to .1118 will NOT require a reboot. I have Windows 7 64-bit too... all updates applied. I had version .1116 and while I was running a DNS benchmark tool by GRC, a very fast (blink of an eye) command prompt flashed on my screen. Usually this occurs when some kind of script is executed... like an update. I literally JUST checked the SAS tray icon prior to this specific event and I had version .1116. After the brief command prompt flash I noticed I was at .1118. I went into the program and confirmed the update in the logs as to when the update was applied. It happened during this command prompt event while I was using the DNS tool. |

Maybe that was related. I tried to rerun SAS without rebooting, and it told me I need to reboot. |

That could be why? The one thing SAS v5 sports as a nice feature is the reduced requirement to reboot! Hopefully we'll see more of these kind of updates. |
