Irvine, CA | [Firmware] Help updating Router (F5D8235-4) firmware Router is downstairs on a bookshelf with my ISP's modem.
Router connected to a XP SP3 machine.
I also have a Win 7 Home prem upstairs.
In the Belkin home page, then to check firmware, I see that 2.09 is available (we have 2.07).
I downloaded 2.09 & saved it to the desktop (XP machine)
during the upgrade got a failure notice -
Firmware Update Failure: You have attempted to install an incompatible firmware version.
I tried removing the modem from the configuration, but of course I get a no network found.
Please help. |
