Well here is my long over due office shoots...
The first Pic its my network closet...
Cisco Small Office 16Port Network Switch. Trendnet 16 Port Patch Panel. Backup 8 Port Netgear Switch. Aris Cable Modem/VOIP Gateway. Dlink DNS-323 RAID1 custom fun_plug. pfsense Firewall Alix 2C3. POE Injector for EAP-3660. APC Backup Battery.
I also run a EAP-3660 with DD-WRT as an AP that servers my wireless.
The second shoot is one view of my office.

The patch panel is screwed in to a piece of plywood. The plywood is screwed in to the studs behind the sheet rock. I painted the plywood the same as the wall to make a nice blend.

but his setup didn't include a rack, instead he screwed the bracket into the plywood / drywall just right to catch the network wiring behind it. |
