Why do you also have to pay the "subsidized" price? This is illegal usury. Why is this kind of practice even allowed? T-Mobile does, if you're going to be cheap, you have to go to a cheap company. Of course Verizon and AT&T, and Sprint (who is desperate for money), will charge you for your smartphone even if you purchased it full retail.
