costa rica | SB5101 Problems? Hello All,
I am coming here today because I am having problems with my Cable Modem service with my ISP (Amnet) in Costa Rica. I have called them and they continue to tell me it's my hardware.
Should my hardware be faulty then no problem, I'll replace it.
My network is setup as such:
SB5101 -> DIR-825 (router) -> SR2016T (switch) -> PC (wired)
So the symptoms are, dropped packets, slow connections, instability, dropped skype calls, etc.
This morning for example I got up and I didn't have internet. I had to release and renew my IP (static) to get it to work again.
I have some errors in the modem log and i've included that below as well as the signals. I have also noticed my modem in different frequencies. Is it normal that it changes? Also I have had my modem loose it's frequency requiring a 'restore to default settings'
