 | [Help] Belkin Pre-N Hello, When my wife tries to upload photos from our cannon t1i we experience connectivity issues drops. I have a Belkin Pre-N and I must restart, but it happens again. When I bypass the router all seems to go off no matter how many pictures are uploaded. Is it a software issue or do i need to make adjustments to the router , or do I need a new router.
Thank you. |

This router is pretty old, but hardware-wise was pretty reliable. I still run mine as a "G" access point only (I don't use the router functionality at all).
If the latest firmware doesn't help, you can always try a 3rd party firmware like DD-WRT, Tomato, etc., depending on its availability for your Pre-N hardware revision. Not all open-source firmwares are available for all versions of the Pre-N. -- "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not one bit simpler."- Albert Einstein |

| Before doing that I'd make sure as jsimmons mentioned, the firmware is up to date. If you've done that..and still no joy - we can explore possibly some other options
Do you notice it when uploading things other than pictures from your camera? |
|
 | No, it is when heavy volume is being uploaded to shutterfly. |
