Innomedia was used exclusively by sunrocket before their demise. We believe it be a significantly beefier unit than the grandstream product with improved longevity and stronger 5 ren output. It comes at an admittedly significant price difference which phone power will absorb (as we always have) when giving away free devices to our clients. We are hoping to recoup this cost by way of longer duty cycles. This is crucial since we warranty the device for the life of the customer.
From a feature perspective, users should not notice any difference.
I don't see the justification for replacing perfectly good units in the field, nor do I think most of our clients want to through the exercise but as units go bad we do replace them on an as needed basis.
For the foreseeable future, we will be sending a mix of GS and Innomedia (to review performance) to new clients as well as existing clients that are getting replacements.
