| [ps3] Question about PS3 repair procedure and PS+ I have decided I am going to send my PS3 in to get repaired. The one I have is backwards compatible and that is one of the reasons I am doing so. I am aware I will not get the same (serial number) PS3 back but will I get back the same capable one such as backwards compatibility?
Regarding Playstation+. If I understand correctly it stores your game saves online so if you log in on another PS3, like a new one, you will still have your saves?
FYI I did have my data backed up on an external drive before it ylod'd and have Playstation+. |

kudos:3 | If you have the option turned on it will store your saves in the "cloud". It only does so after you play the game, it uploads the new datat. It would not have sent old data for games you have not played since the feature was introduced.

Good luck... I highly doubt you'll get a BC vintage PS3 back... Better off just buying a ps2 if you want that.
