yea I heard that on channel 6 they closed AC completely and told everyone to GTFO we will not rescue your ass.

which is a good call.

I will just be riding it out here in inland NJ, where at the Shoprite here in town there where tons of people buying crap because they had friends/family from Cape May shacking up for the storm here on "high ground".

AC-Electric warned us of extended power failures though. but we are set with this nifty 10hr camping candles from REI. they are not LED battery operated but actual candle landerns that can burn for 10hrs before reloading and of course we have reloads and LED lanterns too.

which is funny we have had this stuff for years and some people are scrambling to buy it all now. Why do some people not have things like candle lanterns and such already? just makes sense because any storm can cause a major blackout if it finds the right weak tree branch. jugs of water, matches to light the gas stove, etc.
