| My internet keeps disconnecting at random times This is really annoying and has been happening ever since we got this new modem. (Our old modem was the one that whenever someone used the phone, it turned off)
The internet light goes off for a few minutes and reconnects.
I have Qwest.
I think my modem is a router, and I have a laptop and a desktop.
I'm using the ZyXel PK5000z...

| I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a bad splice. Quick service call fixed the problem and it's rock solid now. You could try that. |
