| Replacement modem with SNMP/syslog support? My Motorola 3347 has been getting flakey, hanging frequently and requiring a power-cycle to get it responsive again.
Qwest confirmed my line has no issues and really good stats. They suggest replacing the modem.
I picked up an Actiontec PK5000, but for the few newer features it has, it's missing some basic (to me) items like SNMP support and syslog output. According to Actiontec's page, NONE of their modems support SNMP.
Can anyone say if the Zyxel PK5000z has SNMP support? I can't find a decent reference on Zyxel's site. My other option is to pick up another 3347 from eBay and hope it performs better. |
