 | [installer] New install questions I am getting WB but noticed that the connection into the house will most likely on the other side of the room from my pc set up. Dont want to pay for custom install is there any tips on running cable on our own? |

But essentially it depends upon the total length of the cable run. I suggest you research what Wildblue currently considers a Standard Installation. If it still appears your desired end configuration will be considered non-standard, you'll then be able to provide us with the additional details we need to provide an informed response.

If you are worried about them leaving the cable in an unacceptable way have then run the cable and leave some extra and then hide it as you please. -- 7000S SatMex 5 1050, Dlink wirless |

 | reply to mkcruiser14 An alternative to running coaxial cable across your room is a wireless router. The WB modem and wireless router would be located where the cable enters the room and then your computer(s) could be located anywhere in the house. -- Value Pack, beam 31, Riverside gateway |
