Re: [DigitaLink] Good News for the Sissonville/Alum Creek, WV Ar I think they do, I do not have the boxes personally, I like my NFL Sunday ticket so im with DTV for now.
Its still 450MHz.... In total 56 256QAM channels is what I come up with, cause you have to acount for pilot channels, CLI channel, data and a "things went to hell" channel.
So it pretty much stacked and packed with nowhere to go but upgrade or a new modulation scheme gets invented. You will prolly see a different name on the bill before either happens |

You will prolly see a different name on the bill before either happens I think in the future when suddenlink deploys SDV you guys might be a test subject for their 450MHz system. I could see them taking 16 QAMs and turning them into swiched QAMs a viola you guys could go above 100 HD channels and possibly even have 4 DOCSIS carriers. Here TWC is using 24 QAMs for SDV and they are using iGuide a28 on motorola DCX3200 and DCX3400 and older/TWC ODN Navigtor for the guide (only used on whole house DVR DCX3400M and DCX3200Mp2) Right now TWC is switching 161 SD channels and 114 HD channels. We have 133 HD channels so yeah I could see you guys getting SDV only if Suddenlink is using a SDV capable version of Passport on those Pace boxes as they have a DVR listings Channel which is not present in iGuide. |

 | reply to Neoistheone I just got the 20MB service (Its in a special for $50 bucks a month now) and this is what I actually get. -- When you ASSUME, you make an ASS out of U and ME. |

1 edit | Very Nice price and Download speed, so Is that special cost still available? Experiencing the low Up speeds here too.
Currently what brand is your Modem? TIA |
|
 | I would assume so, I just did it tonight (well its Saturday morning now technically) but they said it was for the end of this month.
And I am using a Motorola Surfboard SB6120. -- When you ASSUME, you make an ASS out of U and ME. |

 | Thanks Neoistheone.
Had the 20 meg here about 2 years and now have been experiencing slowdown speeds here for several weeks only during the peak time usage hours, so have you had any of that issue during the late evening and until well after midnight?
Just a heads-up on the SB6120, as had two suddenly 'Brick", one purchased and the second from SL in the first year of the D3 20 meg, and oddly occurred just after SL system changes, maybe additional down channel and whatever, but since have had their Arris modem, that I'm still seeing readings and logs that never had issues with a working SB6120.
Thanks again. |

1 edit | I have had the modem for almost two years now, no problems out of it so fare, and no the speeds have not dropped lower than 30. Let me know if you want any screenshots of the modem status pages. -- When you ASSUME, you make an ASS out of U and ME. |

 | Note about the ping, I'm on my laptop on that last speedtest on wireless. -- When you ASSUME, you make an ASS out of U and ME. |
