We don't need a hurricane this year. Some folks are still trying get things fixed up after Ike. I know Galveston is not quite back to normal.

The weather forecasters are saying that Texas is not going to get a drop of rain from TS Lee. Too bad, as I was hoping for some rain for my thirsty lawn, flowers, trees, and shrubs.

I would also if a tropical storm could carry enough water far enough inland to to any good. I don't think I have ever seen one capable of doing that. Houston isn't where the rain is needed. Texas is burning like it never has before.

Some tropical storms do get rain into other areas of Texas.
