Creative Expressions #254Thanks to Dominokat  for letting me host #254. And now for something completely different - My relatives went on a Mediterranean cruise and needed my help downloading the pictures from their Nikon Coolpix Point-n-Shoot. They visited some of the most famous places on the planet. What do I see? Who they met on the boat, them on tour, and an occasional shot of something they passed. It's the reason for the phrase "tourist shots."  I picked the most interesting ones for this thread, but avoided the religious sites in case anyone would get offended by the modifications. Let's see what you can do with them. Cyprus: 
Jerusalem: 
The pyramids in Alexandria. This is the only picture they took. 
The Acropolis in Rhodes. 
Please keep submissions to 1024 on the longest side.

I saw that they were traveling down a river, only because I could see through the window in the background. Where was it? The Nile.  Repeat that for Jerusalem (viewed through a bus window), Istanbul (a bus traveling down the street), Cairo (front of a hotel), and Cyprus ("Welcome" sign in a parking lot). There were also some good pictures, but I didn't use them because they were religious sites - I don't want to offend anyone by modifying the images in a bad way. |
