Re: [ALL] Shaw now opens call center in INDIA! Hmmm, nothing from "Shawsean" or "Shawjames"?
Got this from another site:
"First of all, if anyone is getting a job offer from Shaw nowadays, please consider it as a short term opportunity.
Secondly, if the job is in a call center, please reject it as Shaw has opened a call center in India and is currently calling customers for promo and sales. This is the Inside Sales Representative position.
Thirdly, Shaw is struggling with the digital transmission and have customers waiting on the phone for more than 3 hours.
Please pass on the info for complaints to CRTC about Shaw:
Complain away: »www.ccts-cprst.ca/ or call toll-free at 1-888-221-1687.
"CCTS is an agency independent of the telecommunications industry, whose mandate is to resolve complaints of telecommunications services.
To learn more about CCTS, you may visit its website at www.ccts-cprst.ca or call toll-free at 1-888-221-1687."
In conclusion, I hate Shaw because they are stupid and they don't know how to operate a business.
They have family members in positions that aren't suppose to be for them.
Jimmy Shaw is retired but makes a lot of $ for his retirement
Julia Shaw is in real estate so it's not her business to care about the Cable side of things
Brad is an idiot, thinking that he can trim the fat, stop the losses on the basic cable side of things by introducing Shaw Personalizer and stop the wireless investment.
What will happen in the next 2 years?
Out sourced all tripe play customer service to India
Canadian call center will deal with loyalty customers
Wireless will still be in play but not going to be lauching on their own but maybe through Mobilicity.
For Shaw, it's all about money, they don't pay top dollers for talent, they pay you through the total compensation theory which is cable discount, benefits, bonuses, rrsp matching but not actual basic pay.
Why do I know all this? Because my cousin is one of the Shaw's VP's BFF. He told him everything and he will resign as he can't stand working for rednecks who cares nothing but Alberta Beef and Money."
Give it a year, the failure of Shaw will be all over the business trades; probably be taught in business schools as well. |
